The Grammy winner was found deceased in her Nashville home by friends on April 18 - with an autopsy report obtained by People confirming she passed from complications of class III obesity.
'Even more than her music, the Platinum-selling singer will forever be known for her huge heart and sincerity,' Christian radio station K-Love said in a statement around Mandisa's death During her first appearance on the show, judge Simon Cowell made several jokes about her weight saying: 'Do we have a bigger stage this year?'
In 2017, Mandisa went public about her battle with depression and how she had experienced suicidal thoughts 'It got pretty bad - to the point where if I had not gotten off that road I would not be sitting here today,' she candidly revealed in an interview with Good Morning America.
