A suspect has been charged with first-degree murder and other crimes after a targeted shooting in Manhattan, New York. Prosecutors say the attack was intended to cause terror and intimidate the public. The suspect was indicted with second-degree murder as a crime of terrorism, utilizing a law passed in response to the September 11 attacks.
"This was a frightening, well-planned, targeted murder that was intended to cause shock, and attention, and intimidation," Bragg said during an afternoon press conference.
