Motorists are turning around to try and find alternative routes

Police and fire engines are at the scene of the crash, which occurred between Lodge Close and Adams Drive on the main road.It does not appear that any other vehicles were involved in the incident, but a blue arrow road sign on the central pedestrian reservation has been knocked over.
The van involved is a Mercedes. Cars are queueing and there is heavier traffic than normal on A60 Mansfield Road in both directions around Lodge Close, according to traffic monitoring site Inrix.
