Manchester United are looking to secure the signing of Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte before the summer transfer window closes on August 30.

A 19-year-old doesn't get called up to the England squad at Euro 2024 unless they are a special talent.
And Mainoo's game was impacted, with the Stockport midfielder needing to offer greater protection to United's back four, limiting his ability to influence the attacking play. In fairness to Casemiro, the 32-year-old has looked much improved in the early stages of 24/25 but he cannot be relied upon for another gruelling campaign.
