“There may have been things that you learned were helpful for your mental wellbeing, and some things to avoid. Remind yourself of what has changed since last winter lockdown: vaccines, knowledge, it ended last year and will end again.”We are seeing a wide range of responses to the news from those denying the influx in cases, to others absorbed in statistics.

Many individuals are readjusting to spending far more time at home. This is triggering for those who associate prolonged periods at home with lockdown. Dr. Woodward suggests it's useful to “notice what is triggering you: is it that the house looks the same, the season, the Christmas decorations?" Some of these triggers are within your control – the house – and some out of your control – the season.
