Property prices fell faster in the NN29 postcode area than anywhere else in our region last month. Homes in the area sold for an average of £310,335 each in the 12 months to September, according to exclusive NorthantsLive analysis of the latest price paid data from the Land Registry.
NN7 has seen the next largest drop of any postcode area in our region. The average home there cost £416,278 in the 12 months to September, a 2.63 per cent drop compared to August. Home there sold for an average of £803,316 in the 12 months to the end of September. That's 13.11 per cent less than in the year ending August.
In the Hampshire village of Cliddesden, RG25, prices fell by 7.37 per cent on average, while in Ambleside, LA22, they fell by 6.80 per cent and by 6.77 per cent in S32 which covers the Derbyshire village of Calver. Reducing the limit on the number of properties sold to 20 as opposed to 50, a different set of postcodes come out as the worst for price drops.
