Several states have received significantly more funding than others in the 2024 campaign.

Campaign spending by President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in key swing states has only grown stronger as November approaches. Both candidates are looking to make headway in 2024 in the states that were won by narrow margins at the last election.In 2020, Biden won several Midwestern states by narrow margins, while also picking up Georgia in a surprise victory in the South.

Pennsylvania remains the state with the most focus on it, as it was in 2020. Last election, it was the state that tipped Biden over 270 electoral college votes, and the Trump campaign has almost matched Biden's spending there, with both teams putting in more than $10 million in advertising. The state has 20 electoral college votes, making it one of the largest states that could swing either way.
