Marc Cucurella has addressed the Chelsea fans after his double mistake during their 4-3 win against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday .
The Spain international was bailed out by his teammates as the Blues came from two nil down to win 4-3 after a brace from Cole Palmer and goals from Jadon Sancho and Enzo Fernandez. In a now-deleted Instagram post, the left-back shared a picture of his original pair of boots inside the bin with the caption, “Sorry Blues.”Sancho confirmed the fate of the boots by saying, “I think after this game for sure they’re going in the bin, but after the mistakes, I thought he played fantastic.”Chelsea’s ninth victory of the season allowed Enzo Maresca’s side to establish themselves as a genuine threat to Liverpool in the Premier League title race this season.
