In a statement, Akbayan party-list nominee Perci Cendaña said they will file a motion for reconsideration before the Comelec en Banc and “pursue this case to the very end.”
One of the petitioners of the disqualification case against presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. on Friday, Feb.11, vowed to appeal the decision of the Commission on Election’s First Division dismissing the disqualification petitions against Marcos.
Although dismayed by the unfavorable decision, Cendaña said they were not disheartened by it, saying such is a “bend in the road, not the end of it.” Meanwhile, Comelec Spokesperson James B. Jimenez said petitioners may appeal the decision of the First Division. He welcomed the pronouncements of some petitioners that they would appeal the decision of the Comelec First Division.
