President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has recently appointed several individuals to key positions within various government agencies, including People's Television Network Inc. (PTV), the Philippine Information Agency, National Printing Office, and Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor.
PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed former executive secretary Oscar Orbos to lead the People's Television Network Inc. , the government's official TV station, Malacañang said Thursday.Orbos, who took his oath before Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Thursday, will serve as acting chairman and member of the Board of Directors for PTV , representing the private sector.
Marcos also appointed political analyst Antonio Contreras as acting vice chairman and member of the PTV Board of Directors, representing the education sector; former PTV General Manager Kat de Castro as director-general of the Philippine Information Agency; and lawyer Francis Carlo Taparan as Director 4 of the National Printing Office.The President also named Michelle Anne Gonzales as commissioner at the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor.
