President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Wednesday said those who helped dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo escape the country would surely face charges.Speaking to Palace reporters, Marcos guaranteed that those who would be implicated in assisting Guo would surely "pay the price.""All of those who are implicated in assisting Alice Guo to leave the Philippines illegally as a fugitive from justice will certainly pay the price," Marcos said.
Marcos later said he has "a very, very good idea" whose head would roll following the probe.Guo was arrested in Indonesia early Wednesday morning, according to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission .Citing information from the National Bureau of Investigation , Senator Sherwin Gatchalian said Guo was under the custody of the Indonesian police following her arrest in Tangerang City, Indonesia.
