President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sunday played Santa Claus by bringing 600 children to Malacañang for a gift-giving activity. Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos handed out toys and school supplies to the children and even joined them in some games during the 'Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya: Nationwide Gift Giving.
' 'This is a very, very happy day for me dahil tradisyon ito dati pa dito sa Palasyo ,' the President said, recalling his younger days in Malacañang. 'Gumagawa kami ng children's party 'pag Pasko para naman lahat ng ating kabataan sa buong Pilipinas ay merong Pasko ,' he added. The 'Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya' program was simultaneously held in 40 other locations across the country.
