President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. said Tuesday there are certain things that he wants to achieve before leaving from his post as Agriculture chief.

In an interview with reporters, Marcos did not elaborate what his goals are, however, he said he has a timetable for it. He said the vetting process continues. "Actually I have a timetable for that. There are certain things that I would like to achieve before leaving the Department. So, hindi pa tayo nandoon but of course maraming lumalabas na pangalan, tuloy-tuloy ang pagtingin namin so hopefully, by the time na 'yung checklist ko natapos na, mayroon na tayong pwedeng i-nominate na DA," Marcos said.

Asked how many personalities is he considering to lead the DA, Marcos said "the list keeps changing."would only leave his post as Agriculture chief when structural changes to the department have been madeHe stressed that problems within the DA are so difficult that "it will take a president to change and turn it around," adding that the country's agricultural problems are "very deeply embedded.
