President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Tuesday called on South Korean shipbuilder HD Hyundai to partner with the Commission on Higher Education and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority for the creation of projects that will help in developing the Filipino workforce.Marcos made the call during the announcement of the partnership between US investment firm Cerberus and HD Hyundai in Subic.
''We hope that your investment plans will also be down to the upskilling and reskilling of the Filipino workforce, enabling us to adapt to new technologies required by industry,'' Marcos said in his speech.''We encourage HD Hyundai to partner with our Commission on Higher Education and Technical Skills Education Development Authority, or TESDA, in finding projects for the development of our very talented workforce,'' he added.
