The winger spent nearly three years with his new club before transferring to Liga Portugal rivals Sporting CP to play under Ruben Amorim.But now, a new report has revealed that former Spurs wonderkid might make a return to English football this month, five years after leaving the London club. He has therefore attracted interest from several of the top sides in England, including Arsenal who reportedly considered making a move just last summer.But now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the 26-year-old could be set for a move to the English second division to join a promotion-chasing Burnley side.that the Northern club are currently in advanced talks to complete the deal ahead of the window closing on Monday.
Should they be able to complete the deal for Edwards, it could be a massive turning point in the race for promotion, with the winger seen by many as someone who could tear up the English second tier.
