The Barbie actor, Margot Robbie, chose Givenchy’s white rubber “Marshmallow” platform shoes for a day at the beach.
Given she played the titular character in Barbie this summer, Margot Robbie has spent the year in shoes that are plastic fantastic – both on-screen and off-screen. Call it method dressing, but Robbie has taken style cues from Barbie via her stylish array of heels, which have included everything from Chanel slingbacks to mules by Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik. That being said, the film is out in the world now, and it seems Robbie is officially moving in a different fashion direction.
” Robbie hit the beach in Givenchy’s white rubber “Marshmallow” platform shoes, which retail for £465. Though Barbie also loves a slip-on shoe, the clunkier, sportier silhouette of the Givenchy pair is definitely new territory for the star. They’re almost reminiscent of a pool slide, or a Crocs platform – but more fashun.
