JUST IN: Former Attorney-General Mark Speakman has been elected as the new leader of the NSW Liberal Party. It comes nearly four weeks after the Perrottet Government lost the state election. 9News FULL DETAILS:
Speakman, the former attorney-general, defeated Anthony Roberts during a party room vote this morning.Speakman has twice held the position of attorney-general in the party and has also served as the minister for the prevention of domestic and sexual violence.
The 63-year-old, who is from the moderate faction, has degrees in law and economics from the University of Sydney and a masters from Cambridge University.
