School yearbooks and class photos, some yellowed by time, filled the hallways of Mark Twain Dual Language Academy on a recent afternoon, as former students and teachers gathered with current staff and classes to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the school’s opening. “You guys were here way before I was,” Principal David Garcia said, addressing some of the older former students, many of whom brought photos and yearbooks of their own to share with past classmates they hoped to see there.
