Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were out from 11am EST to 6pm on Monday. The issue was an internal technical problem not a hack, the company said. CEO Mark Zuckerberg said: 'Sorry for the disruption today -- I know how much you rely on our services to stay connected with the people you care about'.
