Defence Minister Richard Marles will not let the Albanese Government's support for Ukraine wane, insisting the embattled nation's fight is 'profoundly essential' to Australia's national interest.

Friday marked the first anniversary since President Vladimir Putin launched a “special military operation” and a full-scale invasion of Ukraine with a major spring offensive expected to mark the occasion.
