Encouraging people to either love or hate the savoury spread has been Marmite’s bizarre but successful marketing strategy for years.
The new hybrid product combines the classic umami taste of Marmite with the smooth and salty flavour of peanut butter. That’s right, apparently there are already hundreds of people out there combining Marmite and peanut butter on their toast every morning – so this new spread is designed to make their lives easier.
