The pair enjoyed a two year romance before calling it quits in December last year
A Married At First Sight star has spoken out about his "heart-breaking split" after two years together. Matt Jameson and Daniel McKee appeared on the UK version of the show in 2021, and were the first ever same sex couple on the E4 reality show.
He explained: "We fell in love, we had a great relationship, I don't want to take that away. I had an incredible experience being on the show, and me and Dan enjoyed that journey together. It is a shame that things didn't work out for the long term, but that pressure and feeling like you're letting the community and the fans and everybody that supports you down."And that's why it was so difficult to put that announcement out back in December last year.
"Everybody was rooting for us, everybody was saying how great we were together." Matt recently revealed that he still gets messages from fans about his relationship with Dan whenever he posts about watching the current series of Married At First Sight.
