Married At First Sight UK made a welcome return to TV screens on Monday, 16 September. The E4 reality show got off to a explosive start as the grooms came to blows just minutes into the first episode of the series, following a controversial comment about a 'wife swap'.
Fellow groom Kieran then said: "Come in with your wife and if you are going to leave, don’t leave with someone else's wife. Wife swapping shouldn't even be coming into someone’s head right now." Alex defended himself, insisting: "You are coming into this and you have to consider every option, have you not? I’m not thinking about wife swapping, I haven’t even met her yet. I haven’t even met my wife yet, and everyone is getting on to me like I am going to go and take someone else’s wife."
The dramatic first episode of MAFS UK comes after relationship expert Paul C. Brunson, who stars on the show with Melanie Schilling and Charlene Douglas, teased that the new cast is "incredible".
