First pics of married couple arrested over death of Louise Smith
The couple live minutes from Louise Smith's homeThe pair, both 29, live minutes from the 16-year-old’s home in Havant, Hants. Their home was raided by police on Friday – a week after they were arrested and bailed on suspicion of kidnap.
Speaking from her home in Portsmouth, Hants, Ms Rawlinson said her brother "hadn't done any wrongdoing". Neighbours of the Mays said they saw them being led away in handcuffs last week. Another said they saw a "red van" outside their block of flats - and a girl getting into the vehicle with a bag of clothes on May 8, the day Louise was last seen alive.
Twenty five bouquets of flowers have now been laid at the entrance to Havant Thicket - a dense woodland where the tragic teenager’s body was found. Family friend Jackie Meredith laid a bouquet yesterday and urged police to find Louise’s killer.
