Queens Park Rangers face Leeds United in their final home match of the season this Friday
Marti Cifuentes is refusing to take Championship survival for granted as his Queens Park Rangers side prepare to face Leeds United in their final home match of the season. Saturday's 1-0 victory over Preston North End helped the Hoops put more distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
Speaking after the Preston triumph, Cifuentes said: “Right now it looks like a big step forward but again, no matter what happens in the next games , the kind of mindset and winning culture we need to create in this club is that we are going to try and win until the last game of the season. “My mindset today is that we took a big step forward in the right direction, but the job is not done until it is done. We need to go into the other two games and not look at the other ones because that has been the mindset since day one.
