Martin Compston has said he will 'miss' Nicola Sturgeon after it was announced the Scottish First Minister will resign.
Touching on a highly debate topic, the actor added that the independence movement is now in a "far stronger position" than when she first started, concluding that she will be "sorely missed".News of her resignation spread across the world fast with many people sharing their thoughts on her latest move.
Adding to the reaction of yesterday's news was Glasgow's Janey Godley who posted a voiceover of the moment the politician resigned with her joking instead of 'Cruising with Jane McDonald', with her spare time the politician will now do 'Caravanning with Nicola Sturgeon'. Despite confirming she will step down as First Minister of Scotland, the leader of the Scottish National Party has said she will remain the MSP for her Glasgow Southside constituency.
