The money-saving expert made the warning ahead of huge price hikes on April 1
Martin Lewis has advised people to make one simple check that could save hundreds of pounds a year ahead of huge hikes in prices.
"There are going to be a whole load of price rises around April 1," he explained. "We've got council tax going up five per cent in England, five to ten per cent in Wales, it's frozen in Scotland, it's not five per cent in every council in England but most of them. He warned listeners to 'check your own bills' to make sure they aren't overpaying, sharing one simple check anyone with a mobile phone can do.
