Martin Lewis and his Money Saving Expert team have released their ranking of forty-six brands of salt and vinegar crisps in a massive blind taste test. During the investigation to find the ultimate salt and vinegar crisp, the team looked at each packet’s price, strongest flavour, top type of vinegar used, packet colours, and some interesting quirks.
"Yet just had my 1st M&S sea salt & sherry vinegar crisps and they've seriously bucked the trend. PS I've no commercial link and don't want a Lineker-esque role. Martin noted: “While we've aimed to objectively examine prices, packet colours, calories and more, the two key factors, overall recommend-ability and strength of flavour, are subjective. And taste is personal, so you may disagree with our results, but I at least hope this may help guide some towards new brands to try that may just be your winner.”
