Martin Lewis has explained how to make the most of your heating as the UK braces for a cold snap.

Money saving expert Martin Lewis has now given his advice on how best to use your heating sparingly – but have it go a long way. Appearing on Good Morning Britain, he explained the biggest ‘myth’ that families tend to fall for come winter.Energy Saving Trust‘The myth that it is cheaper to have it on all day is false. The slight argument for that is if you have a house that is prone to condensation.‘In most cases turn the heat on when you need it and turn it off when you don’t need it. Best to do it on a timer or a thermostat.
Over the last few weeks, as temperatures plummet, Mr Lewis has sought to clear up some of the public’s biggest questions about energy bills, especially around the energy price guarantee.
