Martin Lewis has shared some advice that could help bring in a huge amount
Martin Lewis helped a woman boost her state pension by "thousands" of pounds from a small investment of just £31. The founder of Money Saving Expert highlighted on his Money Show how some individuals have "missing years" in their National Insurance records, which could mean a lesser claim for full state pension or even eligibility for certain benefits.
Mr Lewis explained how this astute approach works, saying £31 would makeup for a part-year payment with each additional year of pension valued at £300. If she is on a pension for 60 years, her £31 contribution has the potential to become £6,000, shielded against inflation.
