Money expert Martin Lewis is urging people to bank themselves free cash Martin Lewis has revealed savvy customers can grab £205 from a high street bank for free – but they have to be quick. The Money Saving Expert founder and ITV presenter issued an urgent warning that an ‘advance account’ deal from HSBC will end at midnight tonight . Customers do not need to switch banks but bagging the free cash does require a bit of crafty financial wizardry, he explains.
Martin Lewis wants to help customers get free money from the bank Lewis said: ‘You don’t need £1,500 you just need to pay it in. You could pay £100 then withdraw it fifteen times to count. I’m tweaking it to make it clear.’ Customers must also carry out five transactions within 60 days of opening the account. Lewis points out that this can be as simple as buying five single bananas on separate occasions.
