Financial guru, Martin Lewis , has issued a warning to Halifax and Lloyds customers, warning they have 60 days to avoid an imminent charge. Due to a new shake-up in fees, customers of Bank of Scotland, Halifax, or Lloyds could face a hefty overdraft interest rate, which might rise up to 49.9%.
Certain Club Lloyds customers may experience almost double the current rate, with an increase from 27.5% to 49.9%. Mr Lewis, a household name featured regularly on BBC and ITV, issued his warning via a tweet stating: "Warning: Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland customer? It could be about to increase your overdraft to 50%."
