'Do it right and this is risk-free'
Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has urged Brits to try a 'stoozing' method that can help get free money from their banks. The founder of MoneySavingExpert said if you do it right, it's risk free.
The top savings rate on a fixed account has just breached 5%, while the best-paying easy-access account currently sits at 2.75%. When the 0% term ends, use some of that cash to pay off the card debt - or transfer it to another 0% card. "Do it right and this is risk-free," Lewis said. "Yet stoozing isn't for the forgetful, ill-disciplined or inattentive." Another thing to get right is to never exceed your credit limit.
