The finance guru addressed some of the public's concerns about racking up massive energy bills this festive season
Martin Lewis has put many people's minds at ease after revealing the exact cost of running Christmas lights this winter.
But the money saving expert, who appeared on Good Morning Britain alongside Susanna Reid to present his weekly financial advice segment, has been able to ease some of the pressure. He confirmed that this is the cost for the whole month, not per hour. He also warned that filament bulbs are more expensive, as this figure was based on LED lights. The finance expert also urged families to not keep their lights on all day when they're not needed. “Just in the evening when you’re there [at home], so you can keep that element of Christmas going,” he added.
