The money saving expert had some big news for anyone wanting to make a few extra quid this year
Martin Lewis, the founder of MoneySavingExpert.com, has highlighted an opportunity for Lloyds Bank customers to pocket an extra £200 by switching their current account. However, he underscores that the deal is most beneficial for those earning £28,500 or more.
Additionally, prominent high street names like Santander, First Direct, Club Lloyds, NatWest, and Nationwide are all rolling out enticing switch offers. Yet, Martin pointed out that Lloyds' offer of £200 comes with a catch: unless you can deposit an amount equivalent to a £28,500 salary into your account, you'll incur a monthly fee of £3, reports the Express.
He explained the simple process: "To switch, you need to use the bank's seven-day easy switching service which will close your old account for you, it will auto forward any payments to that account, it will move across any direct debits, and standing orders.
