Martin Lewis has told parents earning under £60,000 to check if they are entitled to extra cash. Are you one of them?
Martin Lewis has urged all parents earning under £60k to do a '10-minute check' to see if they are missing out on extra cash for their family. The Money Saving Expert said even if you are working, any household with an annual income below this sum could be entitled to Universal Credit.
The Martin Lewis website says: 'With the cost of living in the UK rising massively, lots of people are struggling. Luckily there's help available – and it's not just for those out of work. Use the benefits calculator to check Even if you're not currently claiming benefits via Universal Credit, it's worth checking your eligibility.
'The best way to see what you could claim is to use the Benefits Calculator above. It'll take a look at your personal circumstances and suggest what help could be available.'State support is designed to help those in a range of situations, from those struggling on a low income, to new families, to those with long-standing medical conditions. Even someone earning a high salary could be eligible for some help.
