The Money Saving Expert urged all families to check they're eligible for extra help towards the costs of school uniform – through school uniform grants
Martin Lewis has urged low-income families with school-aged children to apply for extra money to help with the cost of school uniforms. The financial support could be worth up to £200 for eligible families. And, with just a few weeks before the holidays end, it means you can get new school uniforms sorted ahead of September.
Who is eligible for the help? To be eligible for the money, parents usually have to be claiming free school meals, certain benefits or have a low household income.
