Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has warned that millions of UK households are currently missing out on crucial benefits that they are entitled to.
The financial guru spoke on his ITV show on Tuesday night to discuss the importance of benefit eligibility calculators to those unsure if they qualify for certain payments. On The Martin Lewis Money Show, the expert said: "There are up to seven million of you who are eligible, and who are missing out."Now, my rule of thumb on this is if you have family income under £40,000, check benefits eligibility.
"I am not, to repeat, saying that you will get it. I am saying that it is definitely worth ten minutes of your time to go onto an online benefits calculator."
