Martin Lewis' website has urged thousands of UK residents who may need a cash boost to think about switching accounts to land £200 offered by a well-known bank.said HSBC would give the cash to new customers who switch to its HSBC Advance current account by Monday, July 3. To claim the reward, you must switch over at least two direct debits or standing orders within 30 days, paying in at least £1,500 within 60 days. You can't have had a HSBC current account or opened one with sister bank First Direct since January 1, 2020; if you're eligible, you will receive the £200 within 20 days of qualifying, but you must switch by July 3., direct debits and standing orders to the new account.
