Mary Fowler has made a big decision about her soccer career following rumours she could return to Australia to be with her NRL star boyfriend Nathan Cleary. Mary Fowler has withdrawn from the Matildas to recover mentally and physically following a"demanding" recent schedule, Football Australia has announced.
In the same statement, Fowler said keeping up with an"increasingly demanding" schedule has been"both exciting but at times also challenging" in recent months. Meanwhile, Football Australia’s medical team is closely communicating with the Central Coast Mariners FC, awaiting scans on Isabel Gomez’s right leg.
