Mary Portas has cast off her signature red bob for a completely new style as she showed off her stunning hair transformation while collecting her OBE.
Mary had sported a vibrant, sharp-cut red bob for many years, alternating between shades from ginger to a deep red. As she collected her OBE last week, Mary was chic with a completely different, softer look that embraced her naturally silver hair. Mary looked stylish in a cream trouser suit with black detailing that was the perfect neutral background for her OBE medal.
"Through lockdown, my grey started to come through and everyone, my sister in particular was like, 'What are you going to do with your hair? How are you going to get it cut?"' she said. "And I remember I had to do an interview for the BBC, and I just looked at my head – grown out, grey had come through – and I just thought, 'No, this is me now.'
