Four masked men in dark clothing entered a house in Crossgar, Co Down, forcing the occupants to remain seated while they searched the property and stole cash. One occupant was assaulted when he attempted to stand up. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam or mobile phone footage to come forward.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a report of a burglary at a house in Co Down on Friday.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "It was also reported that when one of the occupants tried to get up, one of the men hit him on the face and made him sit down again."After approximately 15 minutes the men left the house, and it was discovered that a sum of cash had been taken from a wallet.
