A pensioner has described the horrific moment three men wearing balaclavas burst into her home and threatened to kill her before ripping gold bracelets from her wrists.
Sickeningly, they sprayed her with bleach and locked her the bathroom as they ransacked the house, taking cash and thousands of pounds worth of precious family jewellery. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the elderly woman, from Castlemilk, Glasgow, said: ‘I thought I was going to die. She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment after enduring swollen and bruised hands and wrists, a bruised back, and shock during the petrifying assault.The victim’s son – named only as Kawa – believes the attack was targeted and said he felt fortunate his mother did not suffer a heart attack during the ordeal.
