That fact is not lost on the 18-year-old big man as he aims to earn a roster spot for the Philippines’ home games against Lebanon and Jordan in the sixth and final window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers later this February. “I wasn’t expecting to play for the men’s team before I would be able to suit up for Ateneo. The Filipinos will play the Lebanese and the Jordanians at the 55,000-seater venue on February 24 and 27, respectively.“Being in the Philippine Arena, that’s a great place to start getting my confidence up, getting used to the atmosphere. Because UAAP is the exact same.”
