Massive Attack sadly confirmed the news on Tuesday.
There had been rumours the guitarist had passed away circulating on social media over the past 24-hours and the group have now confirmed the tragic news.
In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, they said: "RIP Angelo A singularly brilliant & eccentric talent. Impossible to quantify your contribution to the Massive Attack canon. How lucky we were to share such a life together." Angelo's wife, Jessica, paid a heartbreaking tribute with a Facebook post, which read: "I am very sad to announce that my beautiful husband, Angelo Bruschini, died on 23rd October 2023 at 12.15am. It was from a rare and aggressive cancer."For the latest news and breaking news visit dailyrecord.co.ukFollow us on Twitter @Daily_Record - the official Daily Record Twitter account - real news in real time.
