It happened Saturday night at the 2100 block of Palos Verdes Drive
Firefighters were fighting a massive blaze at an apartment complex in Lomita on Saturday evening, March 30, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 2100 block of Palos Verdes Drive at around 6:50 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a structure fire. The fire was upgraded to a third alarm at around 8:30 p.m., drawing a large response from the department.It’s unclear how the fire started, or if anyone has been injured. TV news broadcasts showed enormous flames stretching into the sky as the fire burned through the building.
