The Masters Snooker, sponsored by Johnstone’s Paint is the most prestigious invitational event in snooker, with only the world’s top 16 players earning places at the tournament at Alexandra Palace in north London. Expectations are high for this event as O’Sullivan, 49, bids to win his ninth Masters title with players such as world number one Judd Trump and world champion Kyren Wilson snapping at his heels.What is the Masters 2025 format?This is an invitational tournament, which means only the top 16 ranked players in the world can be involved. There are no qualifying rounds.
