High street retailer Matalan is selling a pair of sandals that could easily be mistaken for a designer brand . The brand's Where's That From Black Norah Single Cut Out Band Sliders are similar to a pair by Celine - but come with a huge price difference. At a glace, Matalan 's version looks almost identical to Celine 's Triomphe Mule in Calfskin. The two pairs of sandals are similar in design, with flat soles and slip-on, slip-off style.
The two also feature similar colour schemes - black and tan - and a similar shaped strap, which also features gold-tone studs. However, Matalan's shoes are faux leather, while Celine's are made with real leather. The Where's That From Black Norah Single Cut Out Band Sliders are priced at £21, while the Celine Triomphe Mules come in at £550. This means shoppers could save around £529 by opting for the high street alternative. The Matalan product description reads: "A chic pair of sliders will take you from the day to a night on the town.
