Sean Zeisz told a jury he believed Jordan Thompson, aka 'Dusty' had bullied Rikki Warnick before his death
A friend of the men accused of the murder of Ashley Dale killed himself after being bullied and "called a grass" by a member of the 'Hillsiders' gang, one suspect claimed.
Today Zeisz was asked about the death of Mr Warnick, which the prosecution have suggested exacerbated a feud between him and Thompson which they say started at Glastonbury festival on June 25, 2022. Messages recovered from Ashley's phone after her death referred to Zeisz being attacked by 'Dusty' at the festival and Zeisz becoming annoyed that his ex girlfriend, Olivia McDowell, spent time with Ashley, Thompson and Harrison after the incident.
He confirmed he had seen a social media post attacking Mr Warnick, and has also discussed the issue with him directly. Zeisz was asked why he was "so concerned about that", and replied: “She’s betraying Rikki. She was Rikki's friend as well. She’s driving round with him. He’s bullied him to death." He told the jury: "I got punched in the nose once, I wasn’t battered like the gossip said. It was one of them things, a lad came from behind me and hit me in the nose. It was on the Saturday, about 4 o'clock in the morning."
