Wolves forward Matheus Cunha has taken to social media to thank Gary O’Neil after his dismissal on Sunday .
O’Neil, 41, was sacked after Wolves’ 2-1 Premier League defeat to fellow strugglers Ipswich on Saturday leaving the club in 19th, five points from safety. Wolves have endured a torrid season, managing only two wins, three draws, and 11 losses. They also hold the worst defensive record in the Premier League, having conceded a staggering 40 goals.
